As a Logistics Customer Representative, you will analyze and provide logistics information to aid cost-effective, efficient, timely, and high-quality logistics solutions.
Some of your responsibilities are but are not limited to:
- Load Management and Operations: Coordinate load coverage with carrier sales, build loads in McLeod, schedule pickup/delivery appointments, accept tenders via email, TMS, or EDI, and update customer portals.
- Proactive Track & Trace: Prioritize urgent loads, perform check-calls, log events, enable Macropoint tracking, and follow up with carriers to ensure on-time delivery.
- Issue Handling: Investigate and communicate transit issues (delays, breakdowns, rejected/damaged goods, TONUs, driver fall-offs). Add accessorials and issue comchecks when needed.
- Customer Communication and Service: Provide proactive updates, anticipate customer questions, escalate when necessary, and deliver confident, solution-oriented support.
- Carrier Booking and Negotiation: Post shipments on DAT, onboard carriers via RMIS, confirm driver details, and ensure on-time pickup performance.
- Reporting and Handoffs: Create end-of-shift reports to highlight pending items and ensure a seamless transition for continued service.
- Weekend and SPOT Freight Execution: Generate revenue by quoting, vetting carriers, posting loads, providing ETAs, and quickly locking in opportunities with customers.
- Availability and Support: Always be available to assist customers, proactively ask how to help, and emphasize full support to meet their needs.

Minimum requirements:
- Studies: High School Degree is required. Desirable (but not required) studies in International Business, Business Administration, Foreign Languages, Logistics, or administrative related. Other studies are also considered.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in customer service roles. Having experience in freight brokerage is a plus.
- Language: Advanced English skills. C1 or higher is preferred.
Perks:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm., following the American calendar.
- Location: Only for Guayaquil, Ecuador. This position will be on-site at Regus Guayaquil (4 Pasaje 1 NE, Mall del Sol, 4th Floor Torres del Mall).
- Salary: 800 USD per month.
