As an Operations Support, you will negotiate rates with carriers to cover loads that were tendered over by a customer and track and trace, taking calls, sending updates to account manager and clients.

Some of your responsibilities are but are not limited to:

  • Track and trace loads and update their status in the system.
  • Solve customer inquiries through email and calls.
  • Dispatch trucks for pick-ups and deliveries.
  • Do follow-ups on carriers.
  • Collect proof of delivery (POD) and relevant documentation and upload it into the system.
  • Confirm pickup number, pallet count, seal or no seal, and case count. Reefer loads always check for temperature.
  • Tender loads to qualified carriers and follow up with pages to ensure on-time pickup and delivery.
  • Check the distance the load will travel, dimensions, and weight before dispatch.

Minimum requirements:

  • Studies: High School Degree is required. Desirable (but not required) studies in International Business, Business Administration, Foreign Trade, or Logistics related. Other studies are also considered.
  • Experience: At least 6 months of experience working in logistics industry.
  • Language: Very good English skills. B2+ or higher is required.

Perks:

  • Schedule: After hours from 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM .Training from 1pm to 10pm onsite in Barranquilla for 2 to 4 weeks. Following the American Calendar.
  • Contract: Indefinite contract. + Benefits.
  • Places: Remote.
  • Salary: $2.700.000 COP + Night Surcharge.
